Terms of Use
Effective date: 2025-01-01
By accessing this site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1) Purpose of the service
We coordinate volunteer baking and delivery of treats as a community kindness project. We are not an emergency, medical, or dietary service.
2) Your submissions
- You confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you have permission to share any recipient details.
- Do not include sensitive personal information that isn’t necessary (e.g., social security numbers, medical records).
3) Allergies, dietary needs, and health
We are a volunteer project and do not operate a licensed commercial kitchen. While we try to honor dietary notes (e.g., nut‑free, gluten‑free), we cannot guarantee that any item is free from allergens or cross‑contact.
- By submitting a request, you confirm you have permission to share recipient information and that the recipient has no known life‑threatening allergies that would make home‑baked goods unsafe, or that you will notify them of the risks.
- Ingredients and kitchen environments may include common allergens (e.g., peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy). Cross‑contact may occur.
- Our treats are not intended for individuals with severe food allergies, strict medical diets, or immunocompromised conditions without medical guidance.
- You agree to communicate any dietary restrictions accurately and understand that consumption is at the recipient’s discretion and risk.
- We are not liable for adverse reactions related to allergens or ingredients.
4) Food handling and delivery
Volunteers follow reasonable home‑kitchen hygiene. Items are delivered or picked up as arranged with the requestor/recipient. Once delivered or picked up, storage, handling, and consumption are the recipient’s responsibility.
5) Prohibited uses
- No unlawful, harassing, or harmful content.
- No attempts to disrupt, scrape, or overload the site.
6) Donations & links
Third‑party payment links (if used) are provided by their respective providers. They handle payments and receipts under their own terms.
7) No warranties
The site and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee availability, timing, or fulfillment of any request.
